Stellantis Adding More Investments Into EVs

Written By, Brad R

Improving the brand and growing their total brand with the automaker of Stellantis, parent company of Jeep, Dodge, and Ram to a $17.9 billion total profit in 2022, surpassing Stellantis NV's first-year profits in 2021 by 26%. That’s a remarkable climb and this shows the growth of these brands as we move further from the pandemic. NowCar notes the popularity of these brands with a greater focus on the reasons for the success of the brands. Stellantis has put together quality vehicles that have seen upgrades and will be offering a plethora of new generation vehicles found in Dodge muscle, the Ram 1500 before long and numerous Chrysler entries. Stellantis has seen an impressive start for 2023 and their sales reflect this growth.

Rejoining the Double-Digit Growth

Focusing on a 13% adjusted operating income margin that fared better than the 11.8% rise a year ago. Stellantis has done quite well the past two years with a double-digit margin growth achieved for the year yet again. Stellantis put together their Dare Forward 2030 strategy to double revenues introduced in 2022 called for a 12% margin. Cost-cutting measures, including the decision to end the production of the Jeep Cherokee as well as the Cherokee plant in Belvidere, Illinois becoming idle, as well as strong transaction prices because of parts constraints now arriving as margin profits all account for this growth. Dodge is set to introduce the newest and final Last Call Dodge muscle entry of the current-generation that has boasted sales for nearly two decades.

“In addition to our record financial results and the focused execution of the Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, we also demonstrated the effectiveness of our electrification strategy in Europe," CEO Carlos Tavares said in a statement, noting Stellantis has 23 all-electric models worldwide with nine coming in 2023.

Never Lift Program Grows

The years of promotions for its Never Lift campaign have led to this huge plan that will look to highlight the world of tomorrow coming online in real time for witnesses. We know the cost of these vehicles will be worth it!

"There's no better place to unveil a new performance direction for the Dodge brand than right on Woodward Avenue in metro Detroit, with tens of thousands of our closest fans and friends. We introduced our two-year Never Lift road map last year at Roadkill Nights, and this year the event will serve as the prelude to going wide open throttle on Never Lift. All I can say is the future of our brand will be on display during Dodge Speed Week, and we're throwing open our garage doors so our fans can get a peek for themselves. It's going to be an electric summer for Dodge," said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand Chief Executive Officer of Stellantis, the parent company of Dodge.
