Nissan Reveals First Look At Stunning New 2023 Nissan Z Sports Car

Written By, Brad R

After some years of speculation and rumors long spoken in regards to what the Nissan Z sports car would become; we finally have the answer. Nissan has unleashed the production version of the new Z. The funny part being how similar the prototype looked like in comparison to the actual product. The rear-wheel-drive two-seater carries an impressive 400 horsepower engine, a powerful twin-turbo V6, that makes owners feel the rush of strength provided by Nissan. Owners have the choice of an automatic or manual transmission with the 2023 Nissan Z. The first Z Proto came out in 2020 and we know the hope from fans included very few changes to what they saw; lucky for them Nissan listened to what customers wanted in many aspects.

Power And Elegance Inside the 2023 Nissan Z

Fans are going to appreciate the massive 123 horsepower increase from the last Nissan Z sports car is a welcomed sight. This extra horsepower is quite needed after nearly 20 years since the 2003 Nissan 350Z came out. Today, we have the fastest and strongest Nissan Z yet. Critics note that the Z matches a charming exterior with a low-price point for buyers looking for a real-deal sports car. Assessed at a $40,000 MSRP (Plus destination fee) for the base trim, many purchasers will be excited with even the stock options. Some of the changes are apparent, but there are some things that remain the same. The 100.4-inch wheelbase is the same as the outgoing 370Z and we anticipate the 2023 model year Z should operate a brisk 0-60mph speed that should be in the low 4-second range. The 3.0-Liter powertrain provides 350 lb-ft of torque to go with direct injection and variable valve timing, hitting 14.7 psi of boost. That means owners have a serious punch when they want to run. The manual version will extend a carbon-fiber driveshaft, an EXEDY performance clutch, and automated rev-matching on downshifts. The Z provides a nine-speed automatic transmission with bold aluminum paddle shifters and available launch control. Captivated yet?

Semi-Charmed Kind of Nissan

For those who want the 2023 Nissan Z, there is no word on when the exact date of arrival, but we expect Nissan to offer further features.
