NowCar Seven Passenger Vehicles

Vehicles with Plenty of Room for Holiday Travels

Written By, Jordan R.

Getting a car online at NowCar is one of the least painful ways to go car shopping. Pick a brand or model, the must-have features, the price, and all the available options are right there on the screen. We often get questions about popular cars or what has the best features, but with the holidays coming around, people are looking into family cars for vacations and road trips to visit Grandma. So let’s take a look at some seven passenger cars at NowCar for those bigger than average families.

2018 Chrysler Pacifica

Already a bread-winner, back when it was released for the 2017 model year ahead of the competition, the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica has all the goodies of its last model year to enjoy. With second- and third-row Stow ‘n Go seats as a standard, consumers can fit seven passengers easily, as well as make use of various seating arrangements for storing cargo. Buyers also have an option to add an eighth seat as well. For these hot Florida summers, ventilated front seats are an available option on the high-tier trim, the Pacifica Limited, and heated front and second row seats are available as well.

If looking for storage options, there is as much as 140.5 cubic-feet available with the second- and third-row seat stored into the floor. If a full house is riding along, there are multiple storage compartments around the cabin and the option to install a roof rack on select trims. Plus, it’s easy to keep everyone entertained with a Uconnect infotainment system, sporting many available add-ons such as Uconnect theater, and a 20-speaker Harman Kardon sound group. Also, don’t forget about the new Chrysler and AT&T Data Plan.

2018 Chevrolet Traverse

Chevrolet is another top brand at NowCar, and it offers plenty of great vehicle options for large families. Automatically set up with Chevrolet MyLink as a standard system for entertainment, anyone (with a compatible phones) can stream music via Bluetooth, Android Auto, or Apple CarPlay. To keep everyone satisfied on a hot day, the Chevy Traverse has TRIPLE-zone automatic climate control so the driver, front passenger, and rear passengers can control the A/C. Some trims also have the option to sit up to eight people.

Looking for extra safety features? A Driver Confidence II package is available to offer low speed forward automatic braking, forward collision alert, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, and more. If a teenager is getting behind the wheel, Teen Driver comes standard to set speed limits, control music volume, and other configurable options. For a real Chevrolet feel, a Leather Interior package is also available to spruce things up a bit.

2018 Kia Sedona

Kia Motors is known for a variety of vehicles, from family sedans to family SUVs, and the 2018 Kia Sedona is a great choice. Whether looking to fit seven people or eight, the Sedona can keep everyone comfortable with available tri-zone automatic temperature control, and entertained with the available Infinity 8-speaker sound system with a subwoofer and HD Radio. Kia comes with its own infotainment system, UVO eServices, mostly driver-centric, but that doesn’t mean features like Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are out of the loop (standard on high-end trims).

Heated front and second row seats can be found on high-tier trims for keeping warm this short-lived winter, but the ventilated front seats will be nice for the dreadful summer. If not carrying all seven or eight passengers, Slide-n-Stow second row seats and 60/40 split-fold third row seats are standard on all trims for easy seating arrangements and cargo storage. Consumer are looking at a total of 142 cubic-feet with both the second and third rows folded down.

2018 Mitsubishi Outlander

Can anyone forget the Mitsubishi Outlander? Able to seat seven passengers, it’s easy to store cargo with the 60/40 split fold-down second-row seats and the 50/50 flat-fold down third-row seats. All trims but the base have heated front seats to keep the driver and front passenger warm, and a heated steering wheel can be found available on high-end trims. The bigger changes for 2018 come with technology.

Standard on the base is a 7-inch touch panel with a rearview camera. The rest of the trims have a 7-inch smartphone link audio display with Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto setup. The standard speaker system is made up of six speakers, but the option to upgrade to a Rockford Fosgate premium audio system with nine speakers is available on select trims, too. Bluetooth wireless technology as a lineup standard isn’t bad, and steering wheel controls for audio, phone, and voice are also standard on all trims.

2018 Dodge Durango

Able to be configured a number of ways, the 2018 Dodge Durango can sit five or seven people, depending on whether or not opting for the available third-row seat. The Durango has a total of 84.5 cubic-feet behind the first row with the rear seats folded up. Heated front and second row seating, and ventilated front row seats are available options on select trims.

A 5-inch touchscreen with a 6-speaker system is the standard entertainment setup, but Uconnect 8.4 with an 8.4-inch touchscreen is available. Consumers can also upgrade to a nine amplified speaker system or a Beats Premium audio system on select trims. There are many other entertainment options such as HD Radio, a Blu-Ray compatible dual screen video system, a rear DVD entertainment center, and Uconnect Access. For safety, several advanced systems are available, such as full speed forward collision warning plus, blind spot and cross path detection, lane departure warning plus, and ParkSense rear park assist with stop.

These are just some of the seven passenger vehicles at NowCar, but when shopping for a car online, consumers can find just about anything. You can start your search by clicking here to build your new car.
