Jeep Adds Trims To Every 2021 Model Year

Written By, Brad R

Few brands can say they have been around for 80 years. One of those brands is the Jeep brand and to celebrate they are offering an 80th Anniversary Edition with every Jeep vehicle for the 2021 model year. Each Jeep vehicle will be a host of new features and see the growth of trims as well. The 80th Anniversary Edition trim will add a unique flair that incorporates dark-finished wheels as well as special commemorative badging added. For Jeepers, this is welcomed news, but the hard part will be deciding the right next vehicle to own.

2021 Jeep Renegade Adds More Comfort

Move into the 2021 Jeep Renegade is felt even more secure with the addition of new safety enhancements. The base Sport trim has gained upgrade to its infotainment system. The 7-inch touchscreen is a decent increase from its 5-inch touchscreen the prior year. The Latitude trim has increased the size of its gauge cluster display from a 3.5-inch display to 7-inches. The Limited trim also sees an improvement with its 8.4-inch touchscreen to be a standard feature. The Limited trim gains a new cargo area cover with a security alarm. Owners that opt for the Renegade Trailhawk will enjoy an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen as well, but Jeep included heated front seating and heated steering wheel with an auto-dimming rearview mirror for good measure.

The Renegade will have the 80th Anniversary Edition that rides on dark-finished 19-inch wheels and special badging. Additional features include black cloth seating with metallic gray accents, a black headliner, and special carpeted floor mats The Islander Edition is a premium trim option that brings a panoramic sunroof, silver 19-inch wheels, and a unique hood decal. This special edition also adds seats with woven seatbacks, blue accent stitching, and commemorative tags with keyless entries.

2021 Jeep Compass Raises Its Safety Features

Interested in a Jeep SUV that is compact, but offers solid safety features to go with more power than most offer in its segment? Perhaps the 2021 Jeep Compass is the right call with its new standard features for the Limited and Trailhawk trims. The 2021 model year Compass adds adaptive cruise control with lane keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and rear parking sensors with automatic braking. The new features that come standard for the Limited Trailhawk will include nifty features like automatic high beams and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The 80th Anniversary Edition will include dark-finished 19-inch wheels with special badging. The interior will gain leather seating surfaces and light gray stitching with a power-adjustable driver's seat and dark gray and glossy black trim accents.

We Love the 2021 Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee

The famed Cherokee and Grand Cherokee have one more year as the top-end SUV choices for the Jeep brand before the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer arrive next year. The 2021 Jeep Cherokee has been revamped to include the latest active safety and driver-assist features. Drivers can gain automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, blind-spot monitoring rear cross-traffic alert with rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Latitude Plus trim attaches heated front seating, leatherette-wrapped heated steering wheel, and remote engine start for owners. The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee rides on 19-inch wheels on the Laredo trim, larger than the previous year. The new Laredo X trim adds exceptional premium features like an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen with built-in navigation, heated front seats, heated-leather-wrapped steering wheel with vinyl and suede seating upholstery, a power liftgate, and a new gloss black exterior trim. A Sun & Sound Package for the Limited trim incorporates a panoramic sunroof and nine-speaker audio system, giving owners a chance at better views and a more enjoyable Jeep experience.

2021 Jeep Wrangler Gains More Enhancements

The legendary Jeep Wrangler has undergone some enhancements and upgrades across the board. The Wrangler gained the newly introduced 3.0-Liter turbodiesel V6 last year and it is still available on all four-door Wranglers. The Sport trim is now available to add a Selec-Trac full-time four-wheel-drive. The Rubicon trim gets the Off-Road Plus as a standard feature. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler has found a host of new tech added. The Wrangler adds a cool feature that helps an owner become alert when filling up tires with a honk that goes off when the air pressure is adequate, alerting drivers that they have finished the job.

The arrival of two new 2021 Wrangler trims includes the aforementioned Islander and 80th Anniversary Edition trim. The Islander trim looks best in a Wrangler with its tiki hood decal, black side steps, 17-inch wheels with 32-inch tires, and a white hardtop roof. The 80th Anniversary Edition will give owners the sleek, dark-finished 18-inch wheels, optional leather seating upholstery with grey accents, and a black hardtop roof. The winner of Motortrend's 2019 SUV of the Year is going to gain tons of attention thanks to its improvement and perhaps yet another award.

2021 Jeep Gladiator Offers More

The newest Jeep vehicle adds the Wrangler's 3.0-Liter turbodiesel V6 engine for the first time. The 2021 Gladiator now grants all trims with the option to gain the Selec-Trac full-time four-wheel-drive system. The base Sport trim has optional LED headlights. The Overland trim is now improved thanks to a standard, new grille-mounted camera to make off-road travel more comfortable. The new Gladiator Willys trim will add 32-inch mud-terrain tires and limited-slip rear differential rock rails. The 80th Anniversary Edition trim is also a choice for customers that go with the Jeep Gladiator. Including dark-finished 18-inch wheels, metallic gray exterior trim, plus commemorative badging, this special edition trim looks wonderful.
