NowCar 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody

Check Out the New 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack

Written By, Jordan R.

Looking for a powerful muscle car, but don’t want to pay the respective cost? At NowCar, we get it, and that’s why our prices are second-to-none. The whole point of shopping online is it’s supposed to be easy, and it’s even better when you can find what you’re looking for at a better price. Vehicles like the powerful 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack are available, especially with the new Widebody package that Dodge enthusiasts all over are clamoring to get. It’s like driving a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat without the Hellcat price. Read more about it below.

So, it’s not an SRT Hellcat, but look at these specs. The 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack is powered by a 6.4-liter V8 that can generate 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. Take it to the track and see if you can beat the last recorded time for the Challenger R/T Scat Pack, a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 4.3 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 12.7 seconds. Be sure to share the photos with us if you can beat the numbers.

Like a true muscle car, the 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack comes standard with a manual gear shift, but some say opting in for the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission is a better choice, especially if opting in for the Widebody package. Can’t enjoy the increase in performance of an add-on package if you’re too busy keeping your mind on which gear to shift into. Let the TorqueFlite handle it - of course, there will also be paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel for drivers who want all the control.

We can’t blame them. Even the 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye gets a boost from the Dodge Widebody package, and that thing may as well be the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon in disguise. The Widebody package has a number of additions to improve performance, including 20-inch “Devil’s Rim” aluminum wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero summer tires for extra grip (optional), extended fender flares that adds 3.5-inches overall to the width of the body, a blacked-out rear lip spoiler, and a scalloped hood. To keep it all under control, a six-piston Brembo brake system is installed to bring the vehicle to a stop, and to make sure even the most daredevil of drivers keep all four wheels on the road, a new aggressive suspension system is added on as well.

Not enough? The 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack comes with line lock, launch assist, and launch control, all features previously exclusive to the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. The R/T Scat Pack also gets a new hood scoop for the 2019 model year to keep the engine cool and increase performance.

The starting MSRP for the 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack is said to be $38,995 (plus destination fee) with an extra $6,000 for the Widebody package, but we can do better at NowCar. Shop online for a car with NowCar today where delivery is free throughout all 48 states of the Continental U.S.
