2015 BMW M3

2015 BMW M3

BMW first created the M3 model in 1985, as a high-performance version of their already popular 3-Series. The M3 differentiates itself on many different levels, and has been offered in varying body styles since its first introduction. After taking a brief hiatus after the 2013 model year, the all-new 2015 BMW M3 is taking the executive sports car segment by storm.

The M3 is completely new for the 2015 model year, and a lot has changed since it was last seen back in 2013. Back, and better than ever before, the 2015 BMW M3 is truly pushing all limits when it comes to power and performance. The interior cabin is a pure driver-centered oasis, but also includes various amenities to keep all of its passengers happy. The newest M3 is offered in only one trim level, and the sedan variant is the exclusive body style for 2015. Despite having only a single trim level offering, drivers can amp up their 2015 M3 in multiple ways, thanks to impressive optional packages.

However you decide to design your 2015 M3, the pure strength, agility, and luxury that BMW prides itself on, will always shine through.

New Year, New Performance

The entire design of the brand new 2015 M3 was built around performance. The newest model has shed pounds, gained power, and even boasts an all-new lineup of exclusive M colors. Drivers who seek a thrilling ride will bask in the wonder of a 156 mile per hour top speed, and the ability to take their M3 from 0 to 60 in just 3.9 seconds. The power behind the inline 6 engine, and the two updated TwinPower turbochargers delivers an impressive 425 horsepower, and 406 pound-feet of torque. That is over 111 lb.-ft. of torque increase from the outgoing model, and that is merely the beginning of what the M3 can offer in terms of performance.

  • 2015 BMW M3 InteriorWeighs Less - The newest M3 weighs up to 180 pounds lighter than the outgoing M3. This jaw-dropping number is thanks to the new engine brace, driveshaft, and carbon fiber roof. Other design elements also helped the M3 shed those pounds, including an all-new aluminum hood, and redesigned front wheel arches. Because of the weight lost by the M3, the sports car gains nine percent in its power to weight ratio - which is enough to make any driver happy.
  • New Exterior Design - Every bit of the exterior of the M3 was designed to both perform and impress. The aesthetic appeal of the 2015 M3 has increased, right along with the performance aspect of the design. A quad-bank exhaust system with chrome plated exhaust tips, and rear wheel arches work together to accommodate a wider chassis and track. Those elements help improve stability, and cornering, for an even more seamless driving experience.
  • New Braking Technology - It has been well established that the new M3 excels at reaching top speeds in record time, but how it performs when it comes time to stop, is a separate matter entirely. It is a matter that BMW engineers took seriously, and the result is perfection. The optional Carbon Ceramic brakes utilize a six piston system, for increased stopping power compared to the traditional four-cylinders. The unique rear-axle subframe is connected to the body of the M3 directly, giving drivers more control and agility on the open road.
  • Track-Inspired Shifting - The 2015 M3 allows drivers to shift like a pro, thanks to the 7-speed dual clutch transmission with paddle shifters. Drivers will feel instant response from the M3 when shifting between every gear. The 2015 M3 comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission, for those who seek

Inviting Interior

2015 BMW M3 Interior

While the world races past you outside, the inside of the 2015 M3 is a quiet oasis that will keep you and your passengers comfortable, calm, and connected. The driver will feel in complete control, thanks to the intuitively designed center console that is slightly tilted for increased driver comfort. The leather-wrapped dash, a unique M instrument cluster, and green, yellow, and red engine warning lights make driving the M3 as easy at is is fun.

BMW did not leave out the passengers when they designed the interior of the M3, and it shows. 10-way power front M sport seats with four-way power lumbar support, carbon fiber interior trim, and automatic climate control, all ensure that all passengers in the M3 are comfortable. Four 12-volt power outlets throughout the cabin, as well as the iDrive system with an on-board computer, and BMW Navigation system are included standard to increase connectivity on the road.

Advanced safety technologies and other amenities are included throughout the cabin for an all-around inviting feel, that stays with you for as long as you are a passenger inside of the 2015 BMW M3.
